BID NOTICE Schaumburg School District 54, is accepting sealed bids for 2017 Summer Moving work at four district locations. Move out will begin in early June. Move in at all locations to be scheduled on various dates but to be completed by August 11, 2017, as scheduled and agreed upon between district and vendor. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and opportunity for site visits will take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. at the Schaumburg School District 54 Rafferty Administration Center, 524 East Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194. BID NOTICE Sealed bids will be received at the main office of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, 3 South 580 Naperville Road, Wheaton, Illinois, 60189-8761 until 9:00 AM on Thursday March 30, 2017 and will be publicly opened at 9:05 AM at that location, for a project entitled "Mayslake Horse Trough Relocation." The bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid security. The work involves constructing crushed granite pavement with limestone cobble edging, dry stacked stone retaining wall, minor site grading, site electrical work, planting installation and restoration turf seeding. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. The contractor shall also abide by the employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570, sec 1-7). Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the project and successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction.
